 Beaches of Sydney
Located on the western rim of the Pacific Ocean, Sydney has numerous beaches, harbours, bays, coves and estuaries. Some of the ocean beaches of Sydney have gained international acclaim, such as Bondi Beach, Manly Beach and Coogee Beach.
The ocean beaches of Sydney can be divided between the Northern Beaches and the Southern Beaches, between the entrance to Sydney Harbour. In addition to the ocean beaches, there are also some beaches of Sydney located along the Hawkesbury River to the north, and Botany Bay and Port Hacking to the south.
